SHAL usually meets on the second Tuesday of the month, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (approx.) with a break for refreshments.
Meetings take place in St Stephen Church, Castle Close, Lympne, CT21 4LQ.
A talk or presentation by a leading historian or archaeologist is usually given, along with updates on up and coming events, projects and items of local interest.
Wheelchair access and toilet facilities are available in the church.
Parking is available on the approaches to the church and castle.
Entry is free to members and there is a suggested donation of £3 for guests.
